Yaiza is awarded several times as the “most beautiful village of the Canary Islands.”
With its cleanness, lovingly maintenance, palms and flowers at the roads, sidewalks and avenues, Yaiza radiates a very calm and solid atmosphere.
In the village center consists of the church and the mayoralty aside. Not far away, you will find the restaurant “La Era”, as well as the large village square conceived by Cesar Manrique.
Beautiful promenades offer nice walks with fantastic views over the entire “fire mountains”; from Yaiza it takes only 4 km to the area of Timanfaya.
To live in Yaiza and its surroundings considers something special. Therefore not only the native villagers, but also some foreigners desire these (high priced) properties.
Two nice bars and two restaurants top the cosy ambiance of this stylish town off.
Not far from Yaiza at the sea (district La Hoya) one of the greatest attractions of the island is located: the incredibly beautiful salt-mine of Janubio. Recommended in all tourist guides as especially worth seeing, the sunset is particularly fascinating at the black beach – and holiday-makers in our Finca “Casa Andrés” can have this amazing sight from the terrace each evening as “delivered free”.
